Lexi Haven is living her own HEA in the sunny South-East of Queensland, Australia, with her husband of more years than not, and two mischievous children who are growing up way too fast. She dreams of moving them all somewhere colder, definitely snowy, and preferably with a hot tub on the balcony.
She absolutely adores Happily-Ever-After’s. After a lifetime of reading them, including raiding her aunt’s seemingly endless supply as a teenager—thank you subscription services and book exchanges— the characters in her head eventually demanded their escape.
Her stories lean more sweet than steamy, with pesky side characters who don’t know their place. Therefore, her to-be-written list is dominated by series options with a miniscule number of standalones. She prefers not to have mortal danger hanging over her character’s heads, however a little bit of a hurting heart —figuratively of course — is acceptable because in the end hearts will be healed and all will be well.
Lexi’s debut romance story will be out in November 2022. Her short story contribution to the Gumnut Press ‘Holiday Kisses’ Anthology —Fairies, Lights and Mistletoe— is the perfect way for her to jump into the world of official authordom. It contains four of her very favourite things – Family. Love. Snow. And of course, Christmas.
She is a member of Romance Writers Australia and recently placed 2nd in their 2022 First Kiss competition.
